Delete your account
On this page
You can delete your EliteCinq account at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, and the business records that are kept because the law requires them.
Key points
- In EliteCinq, open Settings, then Account, then Delete my account.
- Your sign-in, profile and memberships are deleted straight away.
- If you own a Workspace with other members, hand it over to one of them first.
- Invoices, payments, payroll and other records a business must keep stay with that business.
- Cannot sign in? Ask us by email and we will delete your account within 30 days.
1. Delete your account in EliteCinq
- Sign in and open Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete my account. EliteCinq shows each Workspace you belong to and what will happen to it.
- Enter your password and confirm. Your account is deleted at once and you are signed out.
Before you delete, you can choose Download my data on the same page to keep a copy of your account details.
2. Delete your account without signing in
If you cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. Write “Delete my EliteCinq account” in the subject. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
3. What is deleted
- your sign-in details, email address and password;
- your name and profile, your photo, and the address, date of birth and gender you added;
- your memberships, jobs and permissions in every Workspace;
- the record of the agreements you accepted;
- any Workspace where you are the only member and that holds no accounting or payroll history, with all its records.
4. What is kept, and why
- Business records. Customers, deals, tasks, invoices, payments, accounting entries and payroll belong to the business that runs the Workspace, not to you. They stay with that business. Records you created then show you as “Former member”.
- Your open work. Customers, deals and open tasks assigned to you move to the Workspace Owner.
- Records the law requires. If you are the only member of a Workspace with accounting or payroll history, that Workspace is closed and nobody can open it. We delete it when the period for keeping such records has passed, or earlier on a verified request where the law allows.
- Backups. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups for up to about 30 days before it is overwritten.

5. If you own a Workspace
A Workspace always needs an Owner. If you own a Workspace with other members, open its member list in Settings and hand ownership to one of them before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid plan for a Workspace you hand over; the new Owner manages it.
