Acceptable Use Policy
On this page
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses EliteCinq, including every member of every Workspace. It keeps the Service safe, lawful and reliable for all businesses that depend on it.
1. Use it lawfully
Do not use the Service to break any law or regulation, or to help anyone else do so. This includes laws on data protection and privacy, consumer protection, tax, invoicing, anti-money laundering, sanctions, export control, telecommunications and marketing.
2. Respect people and their data
- Collect and enter personal data only where you have a lawful basis and have given the notices the law requires.
- Do not use contact details from the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, by email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone or any other channel.
- Do not harass, threaten, defame, discriminate against or intimidate anyone.
- Do not store special categories of data, such as health, biometric, religious or political information, or government identity, bank or payment card numbers, unless the law clearly allows it and you protect it appropriately.
- Do not use the Service to monitor or profile people in ways they would not reasonably expect.
3. Be honest
- Do not create false or misleading invoices, records or reports, or use the Service to commit or hide fraud, tax evasion or money laundering.
- Do not impersonate any person, business or authority, or misrepresent your relationship with them.
- Do not create accounts with false information or on someone else’s behalf without authority.
4. Content you upload
Do not upload or share content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, that is unlawful, obscene or hateful, or that contains malware, harmful code or links to it. Logos you upload must be yours or used with permission.
5. Protect the Service
- Do not try to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other Accounts or Workspaces, or to systems connected to them.
- Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or bypass its security or access controls, without our prior written permission. If you find a security issue, report it to us responsibly and do not exploit it.
- Do not interfere with or overload the Service, for example with automated bulk requests, scraping, or denial-of-service attacks.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Do not resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties as a service of your own without our written agreement.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches. We may remove or disable content, suspend or close Accounts or Workspaces, and report activity to the authorities where we believe this is appropriate or required. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We are not obliged to monitor the Service, and not acting on a breach does not waive our rights.
7. Reporting misuse
If you believe the Service is being misused, tell us with as much detail as you can.
